Small news in PIN and Schottky-barrier diodes.
Well, big news in small diodes, to be more precise. New PIN and Schottky-barrier diodes in the 4.2 mm 2 SOT-323 package are 40% smaller than the standard SOT-23 package. With prices comparable to larger diodes and no loss in performance, you’ll have the freedom to design smaller wireless products or add more features in the same board space. The HSMP-38XA series (12 new PIN diodes) and HSMS-28XA series (18 new Schottky diodes) are ideal choices for detectors, mixers, switches, attenuators and surge protectors in portable, low-cost wireless devices.
HP now offers the broadest selection of PIN and Schottky-barrier diodes in the very small SOT-323 package. And no other vendor provides the SOT-323 package for the PIN diodes and the HSMS-285A and HSMS-286A families of Schottky-barrier diodes.
